Shore Urgent Care

I was greeted with a smile even though I came shortly before closing on a Saturday. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant. Judy Burns, NP, was patient and thorough. She ordered an X-ray. Danielle, X-Ray tech, was very sweet. When Ms Burns came back to give me the results she sat with me and gave detailed instructions on the medications she was ordering and discharge instructions. Exceptional care. We are blessed to have such high quality professionals in our neighborhood.

First time going to this urgent care. Went in for an emergent matter, was worried they would be closing due to the storm. Every office I called denied me because they were closing early. But I walked in and they got me in quickly. I was concerned when I first walked in cause the girls at the front were staring at me as if I was walking in at closing time. But they took me in and got me back. Wait time was minimal and the Doctor was kind. He was thorough and didn’t rush me. The medical assistant was nice too. The front could be a little more welcoming , but overall not a bad visit minus being in pain. Will be back for an urgent need if needed.

This past weekend I took my toddler to Shore Urgent Care when he was sick. Despite being one of the busiest times of the year dealing with illnesses, I had a great experience with all staff! The front desk staff was both efficient and pleasant. Alyssa was incredibly gentle, but still able to get all tests done that we needed on my toddler. She did everything she could to work quickly and make the experience for him as easy as possible! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Camp. He was informative, professional, and thorough. He helped put anxious toddler parents worried about their son at ease! Dr. Ash was also so kind and made sure all necessary recommended tests were prescribed. We are grateful to have them in our area and will definitely return if needed. Would highly recommend!

Receptionist on this busy morning were incredibly professional and kind to everybody I witnessed them interact with. When I was called to the examination room I was greeted and asked about my situation with professionalism. When the doctor arrived, he was being followed by what I believe was a nurse practitioner in training. Very friendly and professional. Ordered an X-ray that was processed in a quick manner. The only reason I didn’t give a five is because once I asked the doctor for either a shot or a couple days (less than five) of Tylenol 3 until my orthopedic appointment, the mood soured. Maybe I am alone on this thought, but I believe that if you are seeking relief from pain, that makes you a potential addict in this day! In all fairness to the doctor that I visited today, he was incredibly busy. I hope in the next couple weeks, to have an open discussion with the doctor I visited today in order to talk about the pain level I have tolerated over the last year while my insurance company has denied MRI after MRI despite my $9000 out of pocket annual insurance policy. The limitations I have with NSAIDs and who controls medicine in the year 2023-24. I don’t wish to do this as a patient, I wish to have this conversation to understand and or challenge the future of medicine. Sincerely, Jim
